The Circumstances of the Biotechnology Industry in Taipei

Under the joint efforts by the government and private sectors, the biotechnology industry in Taiwan has been experiencing a rapid growth, reported a total revenue of 423.9 billion New Taiwan Dollar in 2022. With the growth of the number of employees by the years, a similar growth trend is also shown by Taipei's bio-tech companies.According to the survey of Taipei City, by 2022, there were 584 bio-tech firms (24.9% of total number of companies in Taiwan), accounting for 65% of total revenue of Taiwan's biotech industry.
