Animal Vaccine Development Center and Agricultural Technology Research Institute

The Agricultural Technology Research Institute (henceforth referred to as the Institute) was founded on January 1, 2014. The Institute was established as a platform that promotes the industrialization of agricultural technologies and startup companies.

By providing agricultural technologies as well as commercialization and industrialization services to agricultural agencies, groups, and individual farmers, it aims to facilitate the development and globalization of agricultural startup businesses. The Institute controls a task-oriented Animal Vaccine Development Center (henceforth referred to as the Center), which comprises 56 researchers, of whom 5 possess doctoral degrees, 21 possess master’s degrees, and 30 possess bachelor’s degrees. The expertise of the multidisciplinary research team encompasses such domains as porcine and poultry diseases, vaccinology, microbiology, molecular biology, fermentation engineering, bio-product and biosafety evaluation, and laboratory quality management systems.
